Sell packages of sessions
Sell a bundle of sessions paid up front, like a 10-pack, that clients use one booking at a time.
A package is a bundle of sessions of one service that clients buy up front and use across future bookings. Packages need a connected Stripe account; see Connect Stripe.
Create a package
- In the sidebar, open Packages.
- Select New package.
- Choose the Service it's for, give it a Name such as "10-pack", and set the Number of sessions (at least 2) and the Total price.
- Select Create package.
To stop selling a package, select Archive. Clients who already bought it keep their sessions.
How clients buy a package
When a client selects that service on your booking page, they choose between a single session and your packages, which show how much they save. To buy, they choose Buy package, verify their email, enter their details and pay. They can book their first session straight away or come back later.
How clients use their sessions
When a client books the service again and verifies their email, they're offered Use 1 credit, which also shows how many sessions they have left. They can choose Pay with card instead if they'd rather.
Recurring sessions use package sessions first, before charging the client's card.
Cancellations and refunds
If a client cancels before your cancellation cutoff, or you refund them in full, the session goes back into their package.
On the Packages page you can see every package you've sold, with how many sessions each client has left. To refund the unused sessions, choose Refund. The refund is for the unused sessions only, and the butterbook.ing fee on the original payment isn't returned.
