Create and manage your services

Add the services clients can book, with a length, price and payment mode, and hide or delete the ones you no longer offer.

A service is something clients can book, like "Initial consultation" or "60-minute lesson". You need at least one active service before your booking page can go live.

Create a service

  1. In the sidebar, open Services.
  2. Select New service.
  3. Fill in:
    • Service Name, for example "Initial consultation"
    • Duration, in hours and minutes, in 15-minute steps
    • Price
    • Payment Mode: Prepay, Deposit, Postpay or Free (no payment). See Choose how clients pay.
    • Description (optional): what's included, up to 500 characters. Clients see it on your booking page.
  4. Open any of the three sections below the form to set more:
    • Location & travel: where the service happens, and travel time between appointments
    • Booking rules: the rules in the table below
    • Customer questions: your own questions for clients to answer when they book
  5. Select Create service.

There's more on locations, travel time and questions in Booking questions, attendees and locations.

Booking rules

Rule What it does
Require manual approval for bookings Each request waits for you to approve it before it becomes a booking. See Choose how clients pay.
Allow recurring bookings Clients can book a repeating series, such as every Tuesday. See Let clients book recurring sessions.
Allow booking on behalf of someone else The person booking can name someone else to attend. See Booking questions, attendees and locations.

How services appear on your booking page

Your booking page lists your active services in alphabetical order, with each one's price, length and description. Prepay and Deposit services are hidden until you connect Stripe.

Edit a service

Select Edit on the service, make your changes and select Save. Your booking page shows the changes straight away. You can only edit an active service.

Hide a service

Each service has a switch that reads Active or Inactive. Switch a service to Inactive to take it off your booking page. Nobody can book it, including you from Add Booking, but bookings already made aren't affected. Switch it back to Active whenever you like.

Use All, Active and Inactive at the top of the page to filter the list.

Delete a service

Select Delete, type DELETE to confirm, and select Delete service. This can't be undone.

You can only delete a service that has never been booked, counting bookings that were later cancelled. For any other service, switch it to Inactive instead.
