Emails to your clients

Email When it's sent
Booking Confirmation When a booking is confirmed.
Booking Reminder Before the appointment, to cut no-shows. Choose 24 hours, 3 hours, 1 hour or 30 minutes before. If someone else is attending, the reminder goes to them.
Booking Update When you reschedule one session of a recurring series.
Refund Updates When a refund is issued.
No-Show Notification When you mark their booking as a no-show.
Invoices After each payment, with the invoice attached as a PDF. Turning this off stops the emails, but invoices are still created and you can send them from the booking. See Invoices for your clients.

Emails to you

Email When it's sent
New Booking When a booking comes in, with the client's details and their answers to your questions.
Booking Cancellation When one of your bookings is cancelled, by you or the client.

Booking Update also controls two emails to you: when a client answers a new time you've proposed, and when a card payment for a recurring session fails.

Emails that are always sent

Some emails can't be switched off, because clients need them to keep or pay for their booking:

  • the cancellation email, when you or the client cancels
  • a link to pay, when you book for a client or approve a request for a paid service
  • a new time you propose, and the confirmation when the client accepts it
  • the new time, when a client reschedules their own booking
  • a new address, when you change where a booking happens
