Your business
Edit your business profile
Set the name, category, phone number, location and timezone clients see, and choose your booking link.
Your business profile is what clients see at the top of your booking page. Go to Settings › Business Profile. The preview at the top of the page shows how the top of your booking page will look.
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Business Name | Your business's name. It's printed on your invoices, and clients see it unless you set a display name. |
| Display Name | Optional. If you set one, clients see it instead of your business name on your booking page and in emails. |
| Category | The kind of business you run. It shows under your name on your booking page. |
| Phone Number | Optional. It stays hidden from clients until you turn on Show on my booking page. |
| Location | Your city, service area or address. It shows on your booking page and your invoices, and it's where clients go for in-person services, unless a service has its own address. |
| Timezone | The timezone your hours and bookings are in. Your booking page shows clients its times in this timezone and tells them so, including how far it is from their own. |
| Booking Link Slug | The end of your booking link, as in butterbook.ing/book/your-business-name. |
Fields you've changed are marked Unsaved. Select Save when you're done.
Change your booking link
Edit Booking Link Slug. The full link shows underneath as you type. Use lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens: when you save, spaces become hyphens and other characters are removed. No two businesses can have the same link.
Your link changes as soon as you save, and the old link stops working. Update it anywhere you've shared it, including your website's Book now button or booking widget and any QR codes you've printed.
Country and currency
Your country, and the currency it sets for your prices, are chosen when you sign up. You can't change them in settings.
