Getting started

Your dashboard

See the week's bookings, what's waiting on you, what clients have done lately and how this month compares with last.

Your dashboard is the first screen you see when you sign in. Open it any time from Dashboard in the sidebar.

Once your booking page is live, select Copy booking link at the top of the dashboard. The arrow beside it opens more ways to share:

  • Open booking page opens your page in a new tab, so you can see what clients see.
  • Download QR code saves an image of your link for flyers, business cards or a sign at your front desk.
  • Embed on your website shows you how to put booking on your own site. See Add booking to your website.

Next to it, Add booking lets you book a client yourself.

This month at a glance

Four numbers sit at the top:

Number What it counts
Earnings this month What you've been paid so far this month, after refunds and not counting tax
New customers Clients whose first booking with you was this month
Cancellations Bookings made this month that have since been cancelled
Upcoming bookings Every confirmed or pending-payment booking still to come, and when the next one is

The first three are compared with the same days of last month. On the 15th, for example, you see October 1–15 against September 1–15.

Agenda

Agenda shows the next seven days, starting with Today. Each day has a dot for each booking. Select a day to see its bookings in order, with the time, client, service and length. A booking that hasn't been paid yet is marked Pending payment, and gaps of an hour or more show as free time. Select a booking to open it.

Booking requests waiting for your approval aren't in the agenda. They're under Action needed.

Action needed

Action needed lists the bookings waiting on you:

What's listed What to do
A booking request waiting for your approval Select Approve or Decline
A booking that has just finished Select Complete or No-show. If you do nothing, it's marked completed automatically 24 hours after it starts
Needs settling A finished or cancelled booking that still has money owed. Open it to collect the money or close it out

On a phone, the approve and complete buttons are in a ⋯ menu on each row. Up to five items show at a time. If there are more, a link such as +3 more takes you to Bookings.

Items you've already looked at move under Seen. Select Mark all read to clear the new markers. An item leaves the list once you've dealt with it.

Updates

Updates shows the last 30 days of activity on your bookings: new bookings, cancellations, payments, replies to new times you've proposed, and package purchases. Things you did yourself aren't listed. Select an update to open the booking.

Trends charts your Revenue, Bookings and New customers day by day, for the Last 7 days, Last 30 days or Last 3 months. Bookings are counted on the day they were made, not the day of the appointment. The chart goes back 90 days at most.

Setup and tasks

Until your booking page is live, the dashboard shows Setup, your list of setup tasks. See Get started. Once you're live, the list becomes Tasks, with things that need doing to keep your business running, such as reviewing past bookings.
